Welcome to a new school year!
My name is Mrs. Motta, and this school year marks my 20th year of teaching! I have lived and taught in New York, New Jersey, and my favorite place to call home, Florida! This year I am excited to be teaching Fifth Grade Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Math and Science to your child, and we have a lot to learn and explore. My teaching career began in the fifth grade, and though I have taught every grade from third through seventh, the grade that has always held my heart is fifth. I am excited for this school year!
I live just a short distance from Loxahatchee Elementary with my husband and two sons. Both boys attend Palm Beach County Schools—the best place to learn, and my reason for moving to this area! My sons’ favorite thing to do is play hockey, which makes me a very busy mom, as this sport is year round, seven days a week! You can very often see me with a stack of teacher work sitting in the local hockey rink… and yes, I have run into many students there!
